My first garden tractor (not counting a Gravely L series that I later sold). I found it in a small town in Central Utah. It hadn't been started for years, and the steering was sloppy (like most old CCs are). The bearings on the deck were dry, and the original blades with the stellite inserts were worn all the way around the edge.
I rebuilt the carb, put in a new head gasket, cleaned a mouse nest out of the heat shroud, and drilled and bored the pitman arm for a 5/16" grade 8 bolt. Also rebuilt the spindles on the mower deck and sharpened the blades (one last time!!!). My mom used it to mow and push snow all last year. It needs a throw out bearing, now.
