1969 Bolens 1225

I got this tractor as a parts tractor for my other 1225 but found it was in better shape. So I striped it down to last nut bolt and screw repaced what was bad. than sandblasted and painted every thing including bolts. Put it all back together only to find the original engine smoked but ran it for the summer. Last fall I ran acrossed a 14 hp Vanguard for short money ($25.00) so looking at what cakes had done with his 1225 I went ahead. It was not a bad swap it went very smooth. I have been very happy with the end result so far. this is not a show tractor but a nice work horse.
