1972 Sears Custom 10 XL

Another CL find, and this one was less than a mile from me. It came with a single stage snow blower, 38" steel mower deck and a front plow blade. It had no spark when I got it, The wiring was hacked up bad, and hooked up wrong going to the SSI and the stator.Cleaned everything up and rewired the whole thing. I rebuilt the carb and the fuel pump before even trying to run it, also removed head resurfaced and installed new head gasket. cleaned gas tank and changed fuel lines, followed by a nice oil change.It fired up 1st try and has run great since. I am giving this to my Dad as a worker at his house. I just rebuilt the mower deck gear boxes and it works great also.
