1974 Ariens S-16

The S-16 is one of the first Ariens tractors that were produced. These tractors were very similar to the New Holland/Sperry's. This tractor came with a K341(16HP) engine and a Vickers hydrostatic transmission. It has front and mid PTO's. A rear PTO is optional. This tractor is also equipped with the optional 3PT hitch. The floorboards came with carpet on them from Ariens. This tractor was given to me by a coworker. The transmission was broken and has been repaired. I use it for snow removal---plowing and snowblowing. It has 320lbs for traction on the back, using suitcase weights.
