Hey all , just wanting to unload a little bit on you all if you have a moment to lend an ear, Today marks 11 years since i lost my mother and i'm not quite sure why today seems to be more troublesome than other days but i guess that time has it's way of catching up on us all and hitting us when we don't expect it. I took this evening to do something i have wanted to do for awhile (stupid as it may seem) but the old lawn tractor that me and mom both did ALLOT of mowing on , that most of you know the tractor that mom nicknamed "Ole Bessy" which is a 1970 Wheel Horse , well i gave "Bessy" some "Tattoos" tonight and had the wife take a few photos of my ugly mug with Bessy along with a photo of mom along side Ole Bessy. I made mention in the past that i wouldn't enjoy mowing grass that much if i didn't have ole bessy , well it still stands true today , I know that the style of tractor that Bessy is (Vertical shaft engine) she isn't desired by Wheel Horse fans , but of the 6 Wheel Horses i own ........ She's my favorite and every time i mow with her ....... I feel mom with me .

Memories we cherish can sometimes get buried and misplaced
Pushed to the back of our minds as through this busy world we race
Then we sit for a moment and something twigs a little spot
Where the remains of years past are laying hidden and caught
The feelings come rushing back and usually along with them tears
Of those we have lost as time has passed over the years
No one can predict why or when these reflection times will hit
And they can be a challenge as we pause to reflect as we sit
Remember the good times that you shared in the past
And look at each new day we now have as a gift to enjoy and make last
