Anybody out there have a part no. for rear axle seal on a 1250? Mine are starting to seep a bit and I would like to install some new ones. I have the axle flange off and was hoping to see a part no. stamped on the face of the seal. Nothing there. I can get out the vernier-calipers and take some measurments, but was in hopes somebody might have a part no. NAPA store not far away, they are pretty good with getting or having seals. Any input much appreciated! Dave

One of the Bolens guru's will be along shortly to help you out. I'm not knowledgeable of the Bolens line.

Thanks! First time on this site.I usally don't ask many questions, just figure things out as best I can on my own.Mixed results with that approach! Just a time thing you see. Just be a lot easier to stop at NAPA and ask for what ever part no. seal without taking the old one out, measuring things etc. Have been running the old boy with a small leak for the last 2 years. It sees quite a bit of snow plow use each winter and I finally decided to fix that before winter sets in.

Welcome to GTTalk Dave. Hopefully you will get that leak sorted out before you need to clear any snow.

Welcome

Here's the SKF interchange
for the axle seals

Bolens 1719877 SKF 12364 2 required, 1 for each side

Bolens 1719894 SKF 7414 1 required , for brake seal

We would love to see some pictures of your Bolens when you get a chance!

Most seals always have a universal number on them. Napa will cross reference the number and get what you need.
I just did this Saturday for the hydro lift cylinder.

I have a 1250 also with leaking rear seals, i have been told that you can take your old seals to any good auto parts dealer and they can match them. I am about to replace mine so i think i well go to napa.
