Over the past few weeks I have been negotiating a trade on some Ridemaster parts.
I went to his place this weekend and was able to get the parts that I've been looking for.
A pair of 18 inch front wheels that have surface rust but are still very solid ( both of the tires are shot ).
The tube frame that goes around the engine, the steering post that mounts on top of the front axle and a good drive pulley.

After we got done stripping parts, he took me out to a barn to see his Ridemasters.
As I walked in, there was a long row of Ridemasters along the left side.
I took a photo from just inside the door.

Walked in a little and took another photo.

Walked in some more and took another photo.

Over on the right side, he had this one that he takes to shows sometimes.

Behind it was one that he had put a pair of small crawler tracks on the rear.

Then there was one that some one had adapted a roller to the rear axle bars.
It had a lot of stuff stacked around it so it's hard to see.

There were two more in the corner.

What a great find. Thanks for sharing your pictures. That is one fantastic collection. Do you know why he started his collection or have any more info to share with us ? I thought that the crawler tracks were really, really, really different.:good_job:

Did you happen to get all the ser# off them?
Did he have any thing you consider rare?
Is it mostly just ridemasters I dont see to much attachments with them?

Ok thats it, sorry for all the questions.

He picked his first one up about 15 years ago and has been collecting them since.

Were those nice painted ones original or did they get re-painted?
Those have all been repainted.

All his tractors are complete except for 1-tractor that was missing the engine.
It took me a good month to talk him into trading parts and even then it was only because I had a pair of Ridemaster gas tanks for trade ( 5 of his tractors need gas tanks ).

He doesn't have many implements.
He was willing to trade the engine frame, steering shaft and the drive pulley off the one tractor that was missing the engine for a gas tank and garden plow I had for sale on ebay.
I also gave him some cultivator tines that were missing the mounting clamps.
I traded another gas tank for the 18 inch wheels.

One of his tractors has the 2-speed transmission that they built from 1955 thru 1958.
All the other tractors are mid 50's models with 16 inch wheels.

Thanks for the info ray what I need is the plate that the throttle sits on and a throttle cable. Also a tool bar that is not bent would be nice.

Look like ridemasters are not his only bolens he has from the looks of the lawn keeper in the back ground.

That one that appears to have tracks on the rear is cool.
