hello all,

currently I have a bolens 1886, runs and drives, but there is one small issue, the seal for the input shaft on the hydraulic pump pukes fluid. a drip went to a very steady flow, very quickly. I figure at this point I have some options, buy another hydraulic pump, which id rather not do, swap a 1455 rear into it, which im sure is more than feasible, but I don't want to do that, since the trans housing leaks on that. How feasible is it to swap the pump out of the 1455 into the 1886? they're both eaton 12 transmissions, so I really cant see it being impossible. At this point the 1455 is nothing but a parts donor, steering seized, engine removed, every tire about gone from exposure to a large calcium chloride spill, then sitting in the ground saturated in it.
