I'll be changing the hydro oil in the Sunstrand 15. Is it common- advisable to blow out the lines also? It currently has what looks like atf in it, I plan to replace it with hydraulic fluid. just curious. Thanks.

If you put ATF back in it you don't have to clean the lines. But if you change what will be in it from before I would flush the lines.

Just to add, you'll have to break the connections at the lift cylinder and stroke it manually several times to displace the ATF. I upon a refurbishment or restoration when everything is open and apart, thoroughly purge all systems of ATF and flush it out, unless that happens it's almost impossible to get all of it out. Some mfg'ers advertise universal hydraulic fluid that is made to mix and match if necessary, I'm old school so it's completely out with the old if converting. IMO stick with ATF unless you intend to get in deep.
