There are no dates recorded for Simplicity serial #'s...Simplicity never kept those records, which is kinda a bummer. The '64 Landlord was the only model to have the black dash and a 9hp (3 bolt carb) Briggs. The Briggs should be dated '63 or '64, if original.

The Landlord 101 is also a single model year machine, with a 10hp Briggs...1965. After that, the Landlord became the 2010 & 2012, with 10 & 12 horsepower, respectively.

In '68, it became the 2110, and had new 'flathood' sheetmetal. The 12hp equivalent was the new 'Sovereign 3012', with variable drive. This year also saw the round fenders vanish. In late '68- '69 the Landlord had some minor changes (key start, neutral safety switch, round steering wheel & updated mid PTO) as it became the 2210...the last footdragger Landlord, last appearing in 1970.
