Hi all. I dragged this out of my dad's garage. I believe it's a 1984 but cannot decipher the model code. Any ideas?

By that it is 1987.

MTD used that steering wheel on everything from the mid 1980s up until the mid to late 1990s. I've had a couple of Lowe's branded MTDs, White branded MTDs and several Montgomery Wards and ServiStar branded MTDs with the exact same steering wheel. They all had there own special Decal in the center cap but the wheel was the same. I've never had an actual MTD branded one though lol.
