Nice job fixing it. My plow has that rod welded in there.

I have a Sears 3-point here that is bent real bad in the 'frog' from use behind a Cat-1 tractor. Going to try to bend it back one of these days. May have to buy a new one.Take a close look at the shoe (frog). Mine was also pulled behind a big tractor and the shoe was bent. It took a lot of work with a torch and big hammer to get it back to a useable shape.
Pay close attention to the adjustment instructions and take wrenches you need to make the adjustments in the field. First time out mine fought me like mad. I made some adjustments at home and 2nd time out, after some minor field adjustments, it was like a hot knife through butter.
Some of my problems though were due to the goofy nature of the Speedex 3 point. I think with your hitch it'll be easier to get right the first time.
If I was a better welder I would make this 3 pt for one of my garden plows! If you want to make a new piece for that mast, I made a drawing of the parts.
thanks Kenny!Nice job fixing it. My plow has that rod welded in there.
That's what I thought as well.Wonder if the welded top link was repaired cause the Cat 1 tractor broke it off when it got caught on something.
These plows don't look heavy enough for those tractors
Thanks! If you want to make a new piece for that mast, I made a drawing of the parts.
