I have looked everywhere to find mower blades for MF 610. I have two sets that were with the mower, one with the 3/4" x 1" hole and one with a round 1" hole. Both sets are wore down to about 14". Anyone know where to get replacement blades?

I was able to get my blades from the Massey Dealer. He had to order them but apparently they do still carry them. I can't remember what the price was I paid though.

Last year I rebuild my 610 deck. I never checked with MF dealer, so I can't comment on their pricing.
I went this route, and used the blade reducers and a universal blade. Works fine.

Bud,
I have an extra set of blades for a 610 that I could part with. They're sitting somewhere in a box in my shed. I'll dig em out today and take pics if you are interested in em let me know.

Thanks rossboyle52, I may still need a set. I did order a set of Murray blades, they have a 7/8" x 1" hole and are 15-1/32" long. If the 1" hole blades that were on the mower were working than these should work also. They were $22 for the set and free shipping so I will give them a try.

At that price, it's worth a shot. Hope they work for you. Let me know if you need em'

Thanks everyone for the help, I got the blades I ordered with the 7/8" x 1" hole. They have a hole like the top blade in Doug's photo, but are 7/8" instead of 3/4". I haven't mowed with it yet but they should work just fine. Just need to make sure that there is enough washer to tighten the blade. Mine had some heavy gasket material cut for an extra washer. Put in a couple of new bearings, new sleeve bearing in the roller, new belts, a new idler pulley (however had it before me had a v-grove pulley for one of the idlers), made a roller out of wood on the lath for the missing front roller. Now I'm just waiting for a set of left arms that I thinks I have found.

FWIW, I would put the roller in a ziplock bag and pour in some linseed oil to let it really soak it in. It should keep it from cracking a little longer.

The 15" blades that I bought worked well. A 15" blade will only cut 1/4" more than a 14.5" blade, two blades will give you 1/2" more cut. I can't remember if a 15 1/4" will hit the housing or not.

See if I can confuse anyone more, ha ha. It will cut 1/2" more but the radius of cut is 1/4" so two blades will give you the 1/2" cut. The point being if there is 1/4" (plus a fraction) between the houseing and the end of the blade than a 1/2" longer blade should fit. Now on three blades... I better stop before i confuse myself.

Both blades in the pic above measure 15" tip to tip.

Now I just have to find a supplier here in canada, as we have no dealers that I'm awear of.
What did you find out! I'm in Newfoundland and need some blades for sure soon. Not sure if we have a MF dealer here on the island but will check. Anyone have the part #'s for the blades?
