I was bored and looking on CL last night and came across an ad for a Bolens 800 with some attachments and a few hard to find peices all at a price that made my jaw almost hit the floor. I thought to myself that will be sold before I'm home for work today but luckily for me I was the first to talk to the owner and he let me have first chance. He told me that there were people calling him left and right and even someone from Ohio called him. The tractor runs and according to the guy he bought ti from the engine was rebiult but the governor linkage has been replaced with springs so it won't run unless the engine is at full throttle. The rest fo the tractor is in ok shape. The hood is messed up from being ran into with something and msot fo the wiring harness is missing. The tiller and deck are in nice shape and the tiller looks like it has been hardly used. I also got a brinly plow that was a bonus because it wasn't listed with the tractor in the ad. I hit the jackpot on this deal only paying 200 for everything.

Didn't Old Buzzard call the guy you bought them from? Or was he too busy driving?

Nope, t'wern't me what called :rolling:

I'm busy getting some things done around here so I can go off on another road trip.

Also, I have my 1886 coming back form the shop this week sometime. I'm having the single action cylinders on the lift arms replaced with dual action ones.

After it gets back, I'll be 'On the Road Again". I'll be picking up a 'goodie' that I made a swap for, and then swoop down into Va. :D :D :D

Nice score on that 800. It's good to see the rounds hoods being saved

I got some time to look over the tractor better today and there are a lot of small issues taht will need fixed for it to be a good go to tractor. I really just wanted the wanted the weights when I bought this so I am most likely going to sell the tractor or part it out to help others survive.
