" Bob " is for may dad, that was his Homelite and I got it when he passed. "Charlie" is the tractor that my wife's dad had when she was younger. We inherited him after her mom and dad passed. " Ed" came to us after a close friend and neighbor passed. His name was Ed and we promised his wife that we would keep the name his grand kids gave the tractor. We also have " Dusty Cubby" 1650 Hydro Cub, "Peppy" a troybuilt LT, " Chief" for a 1970 True Value lawn chief LT, and, " Mo" another Homelite T-16H ( because he came from Missouri) and " Penn" for another Homelite T-16 H who came from Pennsylvania. Not including names for three Allis Chalmers farm tractors. Just our way to keep it family. By the way the wife likes that names and helped name a few. RogerNaming tractors......OK, never got that! :smilewink:

It's just a saying when guys and gals post pics of the front of their tractors. Kinda like the ones on Facebook, when they say throwback Thursday and so on. Thanks. RogerVery nice picture, Roger. Nearly perfect gts in a perfect gardenoke: But what does it mean: front end friday? I'm convinced, we have nothing lihe fef here beyond the pond.

That's pretty tame... I've heard some foul mouthed things from guys in the auto shop at school, me included. My tractors usually get named when I'm working on them, like you black bastard! Or Mother f*ck^r, many have been named SOB!
