On Saturday I went to a one day show. It was mainly about threshing. They had various demenstrations going.

Started with hand flails.

Then they moved to a horse treadmill. And a turnstile.

The clutch-brake on the turnstile. The threshing machine powered by the turnstile.

A small portable baler.

A newer bigger thresher. The straw went right into the baler on the side.

Hooking up a 1914 Rumely to the belt.

Amish are wonderin why we call it a "show". Just normal every day life for them. Nice looking show though.

That's a great show.
Kind of how some of the ones around here started. They would bring in steam engines too.
This last year, there weren't any of the steamers at the show in Saegertown. Kinda missed the sound and smell.

There was one steamer there, hooked to the sawmill. Try to get those pics up tonite.

They used horses and wagons to take people to and from the parking lot.

And some tractors. Quite a bit of New Holland equipment. The two Case tractors were drove in by twin brothers. The 970 open station is their Dads and the 1175 with cab is Granpas. Both are working tractors redone by them and there Dad.

There was a mix of Amish and conservative Mennonites there. Their dress code really fit in well with the era that was being demonstrated.
