YAAAAARRRRRRRRR!

The HSM Rainmaker is finally out of dry dock with the barnacles scraped off the hull and the bilges pumped :dancingbanana:

Actually it has new calipers, rotors and pads on all four wheels. It was in desperate need :)

I set sail for the Port of Cincinnati late yesterday to visit with the sons, and some old friends I have here.

Getting started took a LOT longer than I figured as for some reason I had to reinstall Microsoft Streets & Trips on my lappy. I can't figure out how that disappeared. Really strange.

So with a late start, followed by a stop at a Flying J for gas and propane, plus a 2 hr. or so nap, I finally arrived at 0300 give or take a couple of minutes.

It's really strange traveling with just myself and the cat. Sure miss Mrs. Buzz sitting the co-pilot's set, but I guess that life must go on.

I have a few legal things that I have to take care of down here and it was a good excuse to get away from the house for a bit. I think I';ll be here a week or so, but that's subject to change.

Any now that the Rainmaker is ready to go, maybe Ben will give me a call letting me know that th HDT1000 is finally ready for pickup :D :D :D

The way things are looking right now, I'll probably just pick it up on my way to FL this year, and have it down there for the Flywheelers show.

Well that's all for now, I'll post later if anything of significance happens.

California called, they want you to drive in circles in their fine state until the rain happens. Then when I asked if they were aware that the HMS Rainmaker had an internal combustion engine they freaked out and cancelled.

Have a good trip and be safe.

We all hope to hear from Ben soon, just for different reasons.

Glad to hear the Rainmaker is on the move. Could not have said it better, Life does go on I think Mrs Buzz would like it that way. If the wind blows you this way in your travels feel free to stop by and have a safe trip

It's good to hear from you again, I've been wondering how things are going for you. Life does go on, it just takes adapting to the change. The old saying of "it takes twice as long to do half as much " really does apply. Safe motoring to you and the cat.

We got a cookout tomorrow. If it starts raining, going to have to hunt you down haha.

Enjoy your trip down here and back home.

Well, since this isn't a "tractor trip" you should be safe.

I also can not be blamed for frostbite :D :D :D
yea, had a light layer of ice on the animals' buckets when I fed Sunday morning.
