Hi, first thing is where are you located? I’ve been wanting a Bolens for some time and I sure don’t have the money to buy everything. But I would definitely like to see what’s up for sale. I’m not all that familiar with model numbers.. I’m looking for something bigger than say a John Deere 400, diesel would be great but usually out of my reach due to price. Definitely would like a heavy duty snowblower, a cab would be a huge plus, FEL would work if a particular tractor doesn’t have a snowblower. Would you please send me pictures of the tractors you have with prices so I know what would fit me? You can email them to me @ [email protected] John Gotowala
Thank you!

Hi this is Bill, I’m new to this forum, do you have any snowblowers for a HT23?

hello Bud, I have an 1886, a backhoe(ht23), an ht23 and an ht18. I have just Frankensteined my ht 18 and the wiring diagrams in the kohler/bolens manuals are contradicting themselves. I have the 30 amp setup with the 4 wire stator (red, red, blk, blk) and the syncro 30 amp regulator. I am not sure how to wire the reds. one diag says ground one red wire, one diag says wire it to b+. do you have this setup on any of your models? do you have any idea how to wire this? I would hate to let the smoke out of the stator or the regulator. A pic of the wiring would be nice on the reg/rectifier(syncro).

Here are pictures of the way the regulator and stator connected. The screw on the lower left corner of the regulator (Bat Neg) goes to ground under start soleniod mounting screw according to the wiring diagram. The screw on the lower right corner (Bat Reg) goes to the + terminal of the Amp meter according to the wiring diagram. The wiring diagram is on the last page of the PDF.
