I picked this up a couple years ago from Chad (ihcubguy). It starts and runs easy. Not a powerhouse when the mower is running, but take the belt off the mower and its fine for a little girl learning to drive a tractor.

Had to make some adjustmemts for height, but there have been some BIG smiles today.

You got your moneys worth out of that tractor with just that alone. I remember how a mower ride made me feel as a kid.

Now your tractor is priceless

Wonderful!!!!

I bet she'll not forget today.

You might want to duct tape that block to her shoe. But, knowing

you, it's screwed to the shoe. You're such a good dad.

Blocks I've seen on things, but THIS one is much more than a Block! Assuming that thing is bolted solid on pedal? She needs a hydro Dad, just push/pull the lever then. Wheelhorses are nice and easy.

Perfect example of how people get hooked, "I remember when Grandpa put me on one of these 20/30 years ago!"

Thanks for sharing, and keeping IT alive! :)

Great way to get her hooked young. Brings back memories of teaching my son to drive. The ear to 31st grin is well worth it.

Alan, I can still see the smile on Loran's face when you said to her "What do you think of YOUR tractor?"

Loran questioned the authenticity at first, you definitely surprised her. Of course Karen's reaction was hilarious, especially since you had to tell her "No" haha.

She and I changed the oil last nite. Also greased the fittings and made sure the rear was still topped off.
All good.

She informed me half way thru that there was dirt under her fingernails. LOL
I told her it comes with owning a tractor.

I found a dust cover for the front right wheel and hit the very rusty pan with the wire brush and some paint.
The repaired brakes work great.

Tonight I will load it and the 50 so I can take it to the show after work tomorrow.
They will have to keep each other company overnite.

I agree, "Almost Cute????" She has the meaning of the word down pat. My grandson wants to start driving one of my tractors. I may have to do what you did and let him. He does pretty good on the 4 wheeler (small one for his size). Glad you get to have some father daughter moments. Cherish them because they will be gone before you know it.

I can't get a link to work but the 2009 song "It Won't Be Like This For Long" by Darious Rucker chokes me up a bit almost every time I hear it. It's the song about a daughter growing up fast that I just happened to hear for the first time in the week between my Mom's death and our daughter's high school graduation. That song is so true, and hit me at a difficult time.
