They are a HOOT to drive! Not much out there quite like them, and they work great. Nice, over-built machines. Thanks everyone. Been collecting a while now. Also have a 1959 porter cable, 4 a/c's, a jd 140, and a wheel horse. Have had several jd round fenders also. I bought the amigo and it is in my shop now. Been driving it around the yard the last 2 days. It's a hoot to drive. Does'nt even smoke, motor runs great. Only issue is shifter under seat is loose and does'nt do just right. I'm thinking shifting fork is coming loose. Any tips? Should I pull trans top off?
You have a much better looking barn find than mine!Did'nt get any attachments. One other question. It seems to have a posi trac rear end as when i turn the inside wheel bites and spins. Is this normal?
I hope this isn't welded together inside. Not sure what rear is in these, but never seen one do that unless welded.Did'nt get any attachments. One other question. It seems to have a posi trac rear end as when i turn the inside wheel bites and spins. Is this normal?
Don't know if I can help much. My Hi-Lo lever and fork is homemade. I manage to easily remove the lid after removing my collar.Ok guys I need help. Unscrewed the lever for the hi/lo and got all the bolts for top plate out but it does'nt want to come off. Does hi/lo cap come off or stay with it? What is holding it to trans? Thanks.
