hello again everyone. I'm going to try to start rebuilding my bgb in my 1965 wards squire 10 soon. I've read some threads on here about this but never found the part numbers for the bgb that would be in my tractor. Maybe I overlooked them somewhere. Does anyone know them or know where I could get them?

I located the part numbers for mine at the simplicitypartsstore online. I used the parts list for the Simplicity Landlord to rebuild the BGB in my '65 Allis Chalmers Big Ten.

Try this link from the Simplicity parts store. It's for a Simplicity Landlord 2010 and will have the same BGB as your tractor.

Awesome thank you. I guess I just need to tear it the rest of the way down to see what all is bad. I know to check for the condition of the shafts and all the seals and bearings an seals will be replaced. Anything else that is really prone to wear to pay attention to when rebuilding one of these?

The gears are usually ok in these BGB's. The slop in them mainly comes from sloppy bearings and worn woodruff keys. Just check key slots in your shafts with a new key.
