I went to look at a bolens 1000 today, and I'm not sure of the fenders. they are fiberglass and not sure if they are original or not? He also had a HT20 with cab, tiller, power angle blade and blower. He would take $700.00 for both,or $100.00 for the 1000. the HT20 engine is out because he said it needs a connecting rod and not sure of the cost would be to fix. I spoke with the missus about the purchase of these tractors and she is not happy over my Bolens obsession. I just can't stand to see them sitting there all by themselves with no loven. I will go tomorrow to take some pic's and post them.

If I were a Bolens guy, I'd bring it ALL home at that price!

Snag em both. Even without the engine on the HT20 that is a heck of a steal for both of them. Especially with all of the attachments to boot.

Fiberglass fenders is right for the 1000.

Thats a nice buy even if the engine is out I offer a little less because you cant see how the hydro workes, maybe around $600 for both would be a great buy.

You can still get parts for the engine.

I went and took some pics today and here they are, The HT20 is in rough shape and a bit much for me to deal with, It has power steering as well, front and rear hydraulics the 2 stage blower is at another location and don't know the shape it's in. The Husky 1000 is something I might be able to tackle, he wants $150.00 if I just take the 1000 or $700.00 for both. I do like the large frame with all implements but I have enough on my plate now. I don't think it's going anywhere soon maybe next year.

That 1000 looks to be in decent condition. It's missing the lift leaver though.I would ask him if he might happen to have it.

The HT20 doesn't look to be in that bad of condition either. But with it tore down and in boxes you're almost certainly going to be missing a few odds and ends.
I bought a basketcase Kohler K301 that was supposedly complete but in boxes and once I got it home it was missing the governor gear and flyweights and 1 valve tappet.

Still that would be a Great tractor for say,Diesel conversion. The implements and cab are worth more than his asking price.

I want a 900 or 1000 pretty bad.

Every one I find is Really rough.Hoods mangled or crushed or just rusted up so bad that it wasn't worth the headaches.

If you part out the HT20, you will make your money back, I think. The power steering alone will sell for several hundred.
