Funny you ask that I was actually in the process of trying to locate some affordable ones to stock up on. You will need them in a matched set.
If you dont need them right away let me see what I can come up with by sometime next week. I'm working with a dealer who may have a close replacement for the 42.5'' PTO belts which would be nice

well i would like to have them for pa plow day on the 16th. i have the motor out of the 1050 because the rear crank case seal started leaking. so while the motor is out it will be easy to do the belts. sams bolens charges about 80 for both sets but he says there OEM but i thought the blue ones would be alot better. correct me if i am wrong

If you can find a place that sells Gates belts, I can't remember the style name, like power rated or something but they are green kevlar reinforced belts. I think they were around $20 a piece.

Yeah $80 is a bit high
Bhts has OEM for sale for around $50-60 I believe.

I have been using the kevlar belts on some of my Bolens and they are holding up great. They still look new after almost a year of service.
I have had bad experiences with the gates belts, but other people seem to use them without problems. I dont know if you would be able to get a matched set of gates at your local store though.
"In theory" Since the belts run together in the pulley you need them to be the exact size and cut from the same belt lot.

I ordered a pair of drive and PTO belts that should be here by Thursday.
I still didnt pay for them yet so once they are in I will know an exact price. I was able to get a close match to the PTO belts.
I'll let you know once they come in.

Tractor Supply has Husky or Pix A-Section (Husky replacement) Kevlar Blue belts for $9.99 each.I used a 43 inch belt for the PTO belts and a 34 inch for the Drive belts.
They are usually from the same Lot number at TSC.
I replaced the idler pulley for the PTO with a new one from TSC as well. The new ones are a tad bigger so it worked out Very well.

PIX A-Section Kevlar® Belt, 1/2 in. x 43 in. - 4460838 | Tractor Supply Company
PIX A-Section Kevlar® Belt, 1/2 in. x 34 in. - 4460749 | Tractor Supply Company

All belts from TSC have a 1 year replacement warranty.

You can use a 42 inch belt for the PTO but it might not fully disengage the PTO.It all depends if your spring under the Cover plate is rusty and weak like mine was.
And even though they say they're 1/2 inch wide they are actually a tiny bit wider because of the Blue wrap they put on them.
So they'll sit a tad higher in the pulleys till they get broken in.
