Does anyone have a good place to buy the 22NF battery used in a Bolens 1253?The autozone by me does not carry that size.Maybe some of you have found another size that works well.

I'd give NAPA a try.

They are usually pretty good for stuff like that.

I found mine at Batteries Plus. Interstate has it to if you know someone with a shop that can order it for you
There isn't a store near me.I will check with the local repair shop about the interstate too.I guess I didn't realize these batteries were so expensive

Battery prices have risen quite a bit in the last few years, When you get a battery for a garden tractor expect to pay $75.00-$100.00 depending where you go.

Uh oh, maybe I did something wrong then. I saw my local auto parts store advertising L&G batteries for $20 so I picked one up. Only used it a few times but, so far so good...

$20 is a downright steal!
Are you sure they are new and not the "remanufactured" ones
