:confuse:Hi everybody I'm hoping I can get some help with this problem I have a bolens tractor with a front loader and it had a Tecumseh engine in it. I removed that engine and put a Kohler engine in it. the problem I have is that the Tecumseh engine was clockwise rotation and the Kohler engine is counterclockwise rotation and the transmission is an automatic and now it doesn't want to work I'm hoping that somebody has done this and maybe that there is a easy fix like maybe switch out hydraulic lines or reverse them I don't know what to do any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.:confuse:

turn the engine 180 degrees, i believe that would fix the problem, but the flywheel facing away from a cool air source may be an issue.

What model Bolens is it.The tube Frame Have the flywheel facing the front of the tractor. If you were standing in front facing the tractor, the engine should be rotating clockwise.
