So this is my second garden tractor three point hitch.
The first one on my Jacobsen was mangled also.
I understand how he bent the cross corner stabilizer bar.
He ran over it with his M1 Abrems!

But, I don't understand why the front of the tractors didn't just rise when the tank ran over the rear?
Maybe he had his pet elephant Suzy sit on the hood? And her nice soft tush kept the front of the tractor from getting crushed?

But, I can't understand how he managed to bend that lower lift arm like that?
I think maybe he used a large oak tree and a caterpillar dozer?
But why is the other one as straight as an arrow?
Anyway, as I'm looking at it, I realize that the lower lift arms can be mounted to two different sets of holes.
So, are they mounted correctly or not? And why do the axels have two sets of holes?

I haven't found a three point hitch users manual for these.

Joe

Lower holes are for the tiller to sit on the upper holes are for safety pin that keeps the tiller from jumping off the lower pins. There not the same size...

I have seen 3 pt hitches bent up from pushing a grader blade backwards and hitting something solid, like a big rock or root. This could be how it was damaged.
