I noticed my front bearing cap lying in the driveway and looked at the front wheels and the left front had no outer bearing or cotter pin. I called some stores and OReilly's and he said he could match it up. I checked out some forums and they said on some they were 1185615 and 1185616. They measured the same to me with 1" id and 1.980"od. I called our AC Delco parts store that supplies our car dealer and he got me Auto Extra A4 which replaces TKR KL44649/10 and they fit but he couldn't find the seal but mine looks ok so here is some before pics and I am cleaning out the cotter key hole and will see if the hub fits. There wasn't a washer behind the nut is that normal?

I got the hub on there and it fits good but if there was a washer behind the nut the cotter key would be sitting deeper in the lugs of the nut.

I was tightening the spindle bolts to get some play out of the steering and noticed the rod end of the steer rod is wore out. Would tractor supply have an assortment of these in stock?

I have the test light pointing at it.

I got the front bearings installed and found grease seals from OReillys part number 471750 National. The seat bracket broke where I welded it before when I backed it in the garage and got off of it. I rewelded it and added some support and still have to tighten up the chains. I would still like to know if They sell that steer arm end at a local store. I have a v2 cylinder engine that I will try to put on here but don't know when. I thought that there was some Bolens guys here so still waiting to here from you.

Ron, not a 'Bolens guy'. But I did move this to the Bolens forum. Maybe you can get some answers soon that way. I would think there would be a washer behind the spindle nut, but not sure. The steering arm end looks to be similar to a tie rod end for cars. Might be able to take it off and match it up. Glad you found a seal.

I didn't see a Bolens forum but thanks. I rewelded the bracket but my seat cover is cracked and I need a new seat. I also would like to put an enclosure on it and heat it. When it snows here you have to plow it when it's snowing and then it freezes so to keep the assembly dry would be the key. I want to post an image here and don't see where to do it.

I also need a front tire. 16x6.50x8 But I would like to go with taller tires in the front to get more clearance.

Has anyone ever hooked up a snow blade with left and right Hydraulics and a motor on top to raise and lower it like on a truck on a Bolens?
