I sold one and I've got another one that needs some repair, I've had so many other project's and the weather's been really crappy I just been able to devote anytime to them. I'm going to have to get on it soon though

There is one sitting about 2 miles away looks like they parked it a couple years ago and now have so much junk in their yard they don't need it to mow LOL. I often thought about stopping to see if I could score a bolens on the cheap. I might have to just do it.

Use "Search Tempest", just put in you zip code, how many miles radius rom your home you wan to search and what your looking for, "Bolens Q17", It searches all craigslist and ebay ads within the radius, way better than Google.

Ha Ha! We used to have those up here but they changed to a postal code. They don't work to good on US web sites! I will get some pics for you gents when I get it back from the machine shop. I also have an XL 11 that was in perfect shape but the motor gave out way too early. It is in excellent shape (what is left) and the mower deck is perfect. Let me know if anyone needs parts.

I have scanned some OE manuals, please let me know if anyone would like them posted. The first two are for the H##XL series and the other is 18300-03 mower deck. Not scanned yet is the QT-17 (1666) and accessories.

Advice,

I just dropped a bucket of $$ to rebuild a QT17, tiller and blower and might as well continue onto the 19210 48" mower deck. I will need blades and complete spindle assemblies as shown in fig 8-7 of the manual. I am in Canada so any suggestions on where to go or email?
