NOTE:

After talking back and forth with Bruce about this blade, we came to the conclusion that the blade is not the tubeframe snow blade, but one from a small frame Tractor. I haven't been able to figure out what is original or what was modified to make the blade fit the tubeframe. Does anyone have a small frame blade they can try to put on a tubeframe to see if it is a direct fit?

Brian,

wilburj posted a pic of a 775 with the "4 spring" on it in the link I posted above.

Heres a link to the post with the pic.

However, I'm wondering if the one on the 800 is the 18531, as opposed the the more common 18532? Both of those are listed as tube frame blades.

I can not answer your question, as I have never seen an 18531 blade, nor do I have any paperwork for it.

However, I did call the phone # in the e-bay listing and inquired about the model # of the plow, as the tag is visible in the pics.

I was told it is #1510 -01. .....I assume it is actually #15102-01, which is a 42" blade for use on a (stamped) small-frame tractor such as the 510, 610, 813, & G8.

I can not tell from the pics what was modified to make it fit the 800. .....In looking at the pics again, it appears the plow is mounted to the inside of the tube-frame axle tabs, instead of straddling the tabs.

The 18532 is the common blade that we are used to seeing ( The yellow, Black, and red plows)
I have only seen the 18531 plow listed in brochures and I believe they were only made 1 or 2 years then they quit making them.
The only difference I can tell between the two is in the picture, the 18531 appears to be shorter in height compared to the 18532
