I have worked on two in the last month with governor issues. Is this a known issue with the v-twins ?

Only problems I've had with them was Valve covers leaking,Dirty carbs,fuel sending units and the occasional bad coil or coil diodes.Valve cover gasket leak causes the fuel pump to not operate correctly.They run lean and surge heavily.

These were all Vanguard engines.Never messed with the newer Intek twins or the ELS.
