I picked up this tractor back in Aug. from a guy who was trying to sell it but couldn't get it running. When I went to go look at it he said he was tired of is laying around his house and so was his wife. He said if I wanted it I could have it for free. I quickly agreed and shook hands. It included a snowblower, front blade, 50" deck, and a #2 tiller.
It's taken me the last 3 months to get her all fixed up but she starts and runs great!
Here is what I've had to do to get it back working again.
Replaced the:
Starter
Flattened the head, head gaskets
fuel pump
driveshaft, rag joints, centering bearings
Sparkplugs
Fuel line
Rebuilt the carburetor and adjusted the governor.

It cost me about $300 in parts but it was well worth the money. I drove it for the first time tonight and it worked great!

Glad you got it running, nice tractor and should serve you well. I love my 127 and cubs in general.
I like cubs as well especially when they're free. :) It also goes well with my cub 149.

Congrats on a nice tractor and awesome deal, you got alot of really expensive stuff with that cub and the 1811 is one of the most desirable models.
Thanks for all the help and suggestion in getting this one running!
I'm going to hook up the snowblower this week and see how well it works. Everything turns freely so hopefully there are no problems. I've never had a snowblower before so it might be nice to have for this winter.
