OK, got the gaskets for the intake and carb. Now, broke off the throttle cam and the shaft is in there very hard, may have to drill it out to remove from carb. SO, now might need that shaft and plate, or maybe a whole carb body. This is a DD carb on an Onan. Also the points and condesor on order, but I have no cover for that area and no idea what is supposed to hold it on??? Probly a gasket needed too? Don't see any holes in block or base to have screws for it. How does one go on? I will need those parts too. Think PO ran it long time w/out a cover, looking at all the gunk around the orig points. Still trying to figure out why no key start/crank to it. I can crank all day crossing the selinoid, yet no key power. I will next be removing wires and cleaning ends of connectors and some gauge testing to see if all is correct. Bought a generic switch, witch fits, will have to see if right connects for it. I see in the manual a test to make sure switch closes which circuits and be trying to figure that out. BUT, I don't get any action crossing the terminals on the connector off the switch. I DO have the hour meter running with switch on, and power to the lights wire. That is only thing I know at this time. The darn selinoid and wiring to it all is buried under the battery box supports, think will be pulling it out to see better. What a pain to work on there. I have now also removed the after-market coil they cobbled on it, and have orig Onan coil hooked up, will see if that works when get more done.
