I just installed a front end loader on my 84 case 444 now im trying to hook up the hydralics, I can figure out the supply but cant figure out where to do the return. My loader has a built in storage resevoir but cant figure out where to hook it in onto the tractor.

If your running an independent pump, one line comes from the supply tank to the input of the pump, output to the valves, and the return goes to the reservoir.

You really need to get with someone that has done this mod. With Case depending location hooked up could be over 2000psi or as low as 500psi. I'm thinking Case loaders relief set at 1500psi. Not sure of your loader valves on Case they have to be open center or bad things can happen. And no one here likes to hear someone getting hurt working on their tractor.Best of luck on your project be safe. And remember we like photos. I think Case loaders have an extra valve called power after or something like that. Maybe someone with loader will chime in. I know there was some on here with 400 with loaders have not seen them posting for a while.

The loader is from a wheelhorse with its own hydralic storage tank which i plumbed the return from the tank into the line going to the oilcooler on the tractor, and i tried getting the oil supply to the loder valve from the back of the tractor where the tiller would be ran from but that only works if i hold the loader leaver and if push the tractor drive leaver forward at the same time but the tractor dont move then just the loader. Is there somewhere else i could get a supply from?

The 600 series Case tractors had an extra port on the center control valve called a "power beyond" port. Later model, power steering equipped models also had the same valve, IIRC. It was unreliefed and flowed what the drive system does. It requires a loader valve with a built in relief to bring it down to 800 to 1000. The unregulated pressure would probably make you loader more of a catapult haha. Also, the loader valve must be an open center as a dead head would stop flow and quickly damage the pump.
