So, now needing clutch and brake material, if such thing and adhesive to apply same to G14 system. Is there a kit? How thick is it if I take to a shop and he asks? Is the brake plate, also right there, the same stuff and thickness? This is about the last system to fix on this chassis.

OK, Brian, not sure what is needed. Should I take a picture of the part with One side still on? Is there one also for the brake plate at same area? Does this one needing baking have adhesive on it's back or need to buy that too? OR is there discs in there? Man, why's this B-stuff so hard to figure out?? I'll take pictures of parts, then need serial to get year for best idea of what was used also? Seems the center sheaves are slightly angled surface maybe? Hope I won't need some sort of clamp to hold all in place, as not sure how would do the angle. Brake plate is flat liner.

Well, epay for the rescue, just open your wallet! Have new brake plate with lining on it's way, and the disc kit I missed, fella had more and re-listed, so got one of those too. Took bearings out of sheave, blasted it up good after chiseling off the one side material that was still half on there. Told Mama about the hot oven use, didn't say no. I'm thinking the sheave and both outers have to be bolted all together with big bolt down center, seems I saw that somewhere to back and hold it all in place in oven. I have those two outers painted now, so best I blast it off again I think, one less smell to deal with. Probly just curl the paint off anyway! Got a new bearing in the operating lever now, went in easy, good to go on that one. I've never named my vehicles or such, but might have to call this one "Money Pit" just to keep reminding me of foolish endeavors. :wallbanging:
