Wow Noel, it looks ALOT better now. What is that barrel lookin thing that the hood is cut out for, and why was it red looking before you restored it?
That is the muffler sticking out the side. Someone put that on and cut the bonnet to make it fit. Things some people will do. And not sure on the red. They must have tried to paint it or something. They did about as good a job as they did on the muffler. Hehe.

That first picture is enough to make a grown tractor guy cry! Did you repair that hood or get another? It looks like it would be a challenging bit of body work, at least for me.

I repaired the bonnet Brian. And used the same muffler. Just cut the end of and welded a cap on it. That gave me room for the bonnet to close.
Trouble with Case tractors here in PEI Brian is there not many around to source used parts from.
I am looking for a Case 446 sleeve hitch. And maybe a mowing 48”deck. If you ever happen to see anything in your area let me know.

Must have been a tough repair. You’d never know it was the same tractor. Since I live near the city, tractors are extra scares here. The person I got the Sears SS18 from lives and works in the heart of the Annapolis Valley and seems to come across a lot of tractors. I’ll tell him what you are looking for. There are some Case tractors around. It seems like you see several of them for sale and then none for a while. Same with Fords. Older JD’s are super rare. Same with Wheel Horse. I’ve seen 1 WH for sale on Kijiji in the last few months. Even the Cub Cadets, which used to be common, have become scarse. Mostly you see craftsman lawn tractors for sale. Dozens of them, all the time.
