Well this Christmas so far has been bad.

Two weeks ago I went up to Kansas to visit my family, and had a blowout 50 miles from nowhere. The lugs nuts were so tight I almost broke the lug wrench getting them loose, then the spare was about half flat, and I had to limp in about 20 miles before I found an airhose.

I had to cancel my plans for Christmas because of the weather.

It was just as well, the wife was sick all day anyway.

I left work early yesterday to take her to the Hospital to have her checked out. i walked out to the Van and had another flat on the other side, these lugnuts were even tighter. I had to call the tire shop to bring an impact to loosen them, finally ruined one of the nuts. Then spent 6 hours in the ER waiting room before walking out. The CEO is going to get a VERY nasty letter from me.

I took this morning off to take the wife to a different Hospital, but she is much better now. But the Dog was not feeling good. I took him to the Vet, and he had a big tumor in his bowel and was septic. I had to have him put down. I have buried him in the front yard.

The wifes cousin died last weekend, and the funeral is tomorrow at 2:00 pm.

I just hope the rest of year is better.

Sorry for the challenges you are going thru, Pat! Sometimes, life is just a bit hard on us. Hang in there and ease through all this. Sorry about the loss of the dog. I know how they can be almost children to us. May the new year bring a brighter future for you folks!

I hope you feel better, sometimes getting it out helps relieve the frustration of it all. I think we have all gone through it where it is one thing after another and it just doesn't seem to want to end. But it will and you will be better for it. Sorry to hear about Little Buddy but at least he is no longer suffering.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck. My SIL has MS and I know it can be a very challenging condition to deal with. It's quite a shock to have to suddenly put down a cherished pet. I've been there and all I can say is that it does get easier with time.

Sorry to here everything you have been through Pat! Hang in there, things will turn around. We'll be praying that your wife gets better soon.

Also sorry to here about your little Buddy!

This is a great place to unload what you are going through! It has helped me more times than I can think.

Sounds like a rough patch indeed Pat. Sorry to hear that life's treating you badly right now. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers for better times ahead. Also sorry to hear about your dog. It's difficult to lose a pet at all, and harder still when circumstances are what they've been for you lately.

I know what you mean, as my sister has MS and she can feel fine one minute, and can't walk or half talk the next. You've been going through a hammer-mill of things happening, so I hope & pray things get better starting NOW! Hope your wife continues to feel better, and I pray that the researchers find a breakthrough treatment for MS.

Praying that this is the bottom of the valley you are going thru. Sheesh, seems like several of our members are just getting kicked around by life right now. Hope things pick up soon for you.

It is so hard to loose loved ones. Loosing them on Christmas must be unbearable. Our family is praying for yours. Dog (pet) owners know the pain associated when they pass. They are family members.
