I have several DB 2 wheel tractors. I can not get one with a single clutch face adjusted. I have adjusted the outer clutch face in to the point that it locked and wouldn't release. I have screwed the rod spring in and out of the throw out lever but that didn't work either. I assume that there is wear somewhere that is the problem. I do not see any wear on the pressure ring or the shoes, there are ten balls and they are like new. I have cleaned the clutch face and the clutch plate. There doesn't seem to be any problem with clutch bearings, If I lift the handle the tractor tends to move forward but without any force, if I push the handle forward slightly it engages the clutch so that it will spin the wheels. Can some one tell me how the balls are supposed to lock the transmission to the belt pulley? Should I add a second pressure washer?
