I have seen a bunch of threads where people have worked on the differentials in the MF 10's/12's for detent springs, seals, etc. but is there one thread that captures it all? With photos, tips, etc.? If so, could someone point me to it?

Thanks!

The thread I had going on for my differential had a good bit of info in it. I do plan on making it an article at some point, I just don't know how soon I will get to it.

THAT'S the thread I was looking for! I knew I had seen it and thought it was in here. You mention about "the manual" a few times George; is there a manual on here for the transmission? BTW; your bench top is one of the cleanest, non-oil-stained top I've ever seen! LOL!!!

In my own defense though, the bench is only a couple weeks old and when I did work on anything that was placed on top of the bench I put a piece of plywood down first LOL

George probably lays down fresh plastic, then cheese cloth down over that bench before he begins working! And I wouldn't blame him if he did. It's only gonna be like new once! But of course George knows I'm just jerking his chain, and I don't think he'd have it any other way! :smile1:
