Okay, thanks will do that, Best way to get the cover off? - it would have to come off pretty square with dowels in
use a rubber or wooden mallet and tap near the oil filler tube (You'll see a flat space designed for it) Once you get the seal broke it will come off by hand the rest of the way)

GENTLY separate the cover from the block using a thin blade like a putty knife. ......Once the cover has separated, you can pry under it with a screwdriver.

Care must be taken so that you do not gouge the cast-iron mating surfaces of the block or cover.

There is a ball and spring which fits into the end of the camshaft to control end play of the cam. .....Often the ball will drop out when the cover is removed. ......If you do not know to watch for it, the ball is easily lost.
