I was looking for parts this evening and saw that a seller had stripped a very good MF10 for parts/profit. I kind of want one more and this just made me sick.

The cosmetics were outstanding. I didnt see the motor listed? Might have been the problem?
You shouldve bought the Nice 67 that was under $200

Yep, it hurts to see one taken apart to be sold as parts but then again, that's how lots of people keep theirs going. I have a parts tractor that I keep thinking about putting some of on ebay but then I tell myself to keep all the parts as I may some day need them.

Would have been a good deal for me if the motor was blown as I have a HH100 that runs in the shed waiting and a mystery HH120 long block.

I have a 12H parts machine, I really think I will part out once I get the other 12H for the wife going. It is a real gem, the frame had to be rewelded with multiple passes in the middle and the drawbar is bent up. Feel free to use your imagination what happened there! Point is these are the tractors that should be parted out. Its like parting out a good 69 chevelle SS396 because the 396 is missing.

I know what you mean, when I came back from Vietnam Aug. 10,1967 I bought a Marina Blue 375HP 1967 SS396, my first new car. My ex-wife got the car....................sure wish I had that car back.

My first memories of cars as a child are in my dads 69 Chevelle SS396/375 4 speed. He said when I wouldn't sleep he would drive me around in it. That's how little I was, but the impression was strong. One should note be very careful what you expose a child to, at one time years later every vehicle I owned was powered by a fat block chevy. 40+ rat motors lay in wait in our private reserve. I even ended up working for General Motors Corporation. I tell the younger guys I was born in the gas crisis, but the tire smoke was still clearing at the intersections from the muscle car era. I even caught the last of the 2 stroke diesels. The world is so boring now.
