Got this eliminator 1600 last weekend.got it running today, but it seems that the throttle lever does not vary the engine rpm. Only way to idle down or up is with the idle screw. I'm not sure if go or linkage is messed up or just what the problem is.

Looks right. Try cleaning rust off linkages at pivots and such, maybe too tight to move as is rusty? Clamp hold-down for throttle cable at different spot?

Sell Me tractor cheap, heh!

Cant help you im afraid, but my 1600H behaves the same, the throttle lever is connected fine but seems to do nothing, all i can do is give it full power but cant get it back down with the lever, it comes back down itself after a while though. All i have is tickover and full power, there is no inbetween, i wasnt really that bothered about it as i was planning on using it as spares for my other one but im thinking about restoring it so if you find out what your problem is let me know please, i will check mine, cheers

Yes thank you, I went to the dealer this morning and looked at the parts view and figured that that spring was missing. I ordered it for $13.00, pretty pricey for a little spring, but I need it.
