Completed a couple of modifications and the 3 pt adapter is done except for the painting which I'll do next week
Change 1" discarded the rectangular stop as I decided it wasn't needed
Change 1A welded a 1/2" X 1/2" X 2' piece to the RH base plate and then welded the hinge top to the RH base assy

Nice job Gary. Should make connecting an attachment a bit easier and take less time for those days when things need to get done in between the rain drops.

Nice job making that.. Cant say i would have followed in those footsteps since its a bit of an odd duckling and just making something more like a ‘normal’ 3 pt wouldnt have been much harder, but i do like the ‘OEM Plus’ concept a lot in general and have done a lot of that in the car world.

Anywho, for anyone looking for 5/8 ball ends, the absolute cheapest way to get them is probably to buy a cat0 top link and chop the ends off. That way you get a turnbuckle to use on something else later! 😂 Here’s a tensioning rod i made out of the middle of a bent cat0 top link that i had already cut the ends off of and welded onto a hydraulic cylinder.

Id also look at Weavers tractor parts because you might just find the exact type of prt you were looking to build in the first place: 3 point Hitch Kits for Compact Tractors
