My dad had 4 of them at one time in the 70s. He used them as service trucks for his HVAC company. They only lasted adout 1 1/2 yrs due to rusting of the frame and body.Engines were good but rust was bad. He then switched to the Dodge Ram pickups (same size basicly) and had the same result, rust. The couriers had good gas mileage. they were sticks. Roger.

I had one of those it was a good little truck. The fame rusted through at the rear spring shackles.
My Dad welded angle iron in with his Harbor Freight Fllux Core welder and I drove it another year.

Good little trucks, direct competition was the Chevy Luv, another import, both suffered from severe rust issues here in the North East.

Have not seen one of those for quite some time. Minnesota winters are real hard on vehicles but the imports really rusted quickly. I think the Dodge was the D50.
