I recently got this 750 in on a trade and just got some time to work on it today. It's in average condition for it's age and is dirty from sitting outside for some time. First problem I noticed when I got the tractor was that it had no spark. I believe this was due to the points being dirty or the condenser went bad. So today I drove to my local OPE shop and picked up a newer Briggs magnetron coil to replace the old one. After swapping the coils out I was able to get the engine to fire on gas dumped down the carb. It won't stay running due to old gas that has been in the tank and carb for a long time. That will be the next area to address.

My plan for this tractor is to get it running good then use it to plow snow with this winter. I'm also thinking about removing the starter generator and replacing it with a recoil start so I don't need to worry about a battery.

She looks pretty complete. If you go with a pull start will you still generate power to run your lights?

Like mentioned it looks complete. Definitely has patina to it but that adds character. I vote to keep the starter generator. :D

I will have to look to see if this engine has a stator. If it doesn't I'll keep the starter generator or just leave the lights disconnected.

I forgot I posted about this tractor lol. So I figure I'll give everyone the final update. After trying to sell it for months with no luck I have kept decided to keep a few parts and scrap it.
