Some seat time today
Looks good - how are they for traction and maneuverability compared with a tubeframe tractor like a 1050? Was there a soft cab option for the EK's to protect the operator and seat from the snow and wind?

Maneuverability I give them a "A"

Traction I give them a "D" in the snow, if you have any kind of incline and are trying to back up good luck

No issues on small slopes / flat lands

Cabs were available but not much wiggle room inside them.

Was actually planning on using the 1050 today but some how the battery died sitting for a month , battery is only 2 years old too......

Well you wanted it, you got it!! I got some seat time but it wasn't on any Bolens. I was stuck in the house with my 21 month old son because my wife couldn't get home from work. A 30-35min ride took her 3hrs and she wasn't on the expressway, all back streets. My Mom has the same ride time from work to home as my wife, well she left work at 5:30pm and got on the thruway and didn't get home till 10pm. Rough night! Went out after she got home, cleared 2+ ft of snow as it was snowing hard and by the time I got in we had 3-4" already in the 1st area I cleared. :wallbanging: Hit the hay at 11am and up for work at 1:30am. I need a nap!

Perhaps there is a small parasitic drain that discharged the battery - a bit of moisture inside an ignition switch can do strange things.
