has anyone put a "foot throttle" on their gt's? kinda like the old tractors had a throttle on the dash and then a pedal you could hit with your heel to rev it up. not exactly sure what it's called. on my case gt since it has the hydraulic drive when ya go up a hill, even a slight grade, it bogs the engine down quite a bit. so then ive gotta mess with the throttle on the dash to rev it up and then once i get over the hill or grade then ive gotta set the throttle back to what i had it at. itd be nice if i could just hit a pedal and rev it up a little. i have no idea how id make this work so i was wondering if anyone else has made one

Foot throttle would be nice. I wanted to put one on my LGT 100 ford years ago. But never did. Sons 1210 ford tractor has a foot throttle. Handy.

I wish I could remember exactly how but it wasnt that hard, a second cable that would override the hand throttle cable . Example : You set the hand throttle to half but you could use the foot throttle to go full rpm’s , let off and it would return to the hand throttle setting .
