I'm getting a slight jump on the topic here, but I'm about to pull out of the driveway with my family and head off for a camping trip. I'll get to spend time with my youngest sister and her husband, and my uncle and his wife plan to stop by.
So best wishes to each of you, enjoy this time with family and friends, and leave room for dessert!

I am going to be traveling as well, going to have Thanksgiving at my Sister In law's. I guess I will be Thankful to get on the road and headed back home...

I'm kidding, I am thankful for so many things, family, friends, faith, health, country, and those are just the blessings I recognize, I'm sure there are more that I don't even notice...

I'll be traveling too, not very far though. A couple pies, the turkey, stuffing, spuds and now I'm getting hungrier. I'm thankful for such great friends and family at GT-Talk! This little guy was enjoying an early Thanksgiving dinner this afternoon.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

My family and my wife's family are all coming to our house, with the exception of my wife's brothers' family. Should be about 18 of us. Looking at the food and the menu, anyone on this forum that doesn't have plans please feel free to swing in. Foods on at noon. I do believe we have enough food to feed about forty.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

We will be making the rounds to both sets of parents this weekend. We'll start tomorrow at my folks in Claremore, OK, then be at wife's folks in Bartlesville, OK later Friday thru Sunday. My in-laws are great to be around, so I always look forward to visiting BOTH sides. It's a blessing!

Happy Thanksgiving as well everyone. Hope you all have safe travels to and fro, and best of luck for not eating too much!

This Thanksgiving, be sure to reflect back through this past year, and take a moment to remember all of those who may not have been able to be here this year, and cherish the memories that you have of them. Keep all of the soldiers in your thoughts and prayers, and say a special blessing for them, as most of them can't be with their loved ones over the Holidays. While sitting around the table, take a look around, and be Thankful for all of the blessings that we take for granted each and every day, like the roof over your head, the food provided for dinner, your family members, or maybe just the air that you breathe. Ask God to touch the families that may have lost their jobs this year, and are finding it hard to stay ahead, or possibly not able to have a full dinner like the one fixed in front of you. Be Thankful that your job and your income is holding steady, and remember the ones out on the street that have nothing. Be proud to be an American when the news comes on, broadcasting about all of the fighting going on in other countries, and wonder what they're Thanksgiving will be like tomorrow.

We have a lot to be Thankful for this year, but always remember that the next year may not be as pleasant. Now is the time to cherish the blessings, remember the lost, and enjoy what you have to the fullest, as it can all be taken away in a matter of an instant.

Happy Thanksgiving!

All you guys traveling, be VERY careful out there! I am lucky this year as tomorrow the dinner is here at my home, and then Saturday, we have to travel a full "almost 1/2" a mile to Meangreen's for a late 2nd Thanksgiving meal.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and especially to those of you that must work on the turkiest of days! I got the T-shirt long ago and many times.. and Christmas... and New Years.... and any day Ma Nature blowed out a water main or it snowed.

We have mixed blessings this year. Tonight our neighbors delivered the full course pre-done turkey dinner this evening and we're set for a week including apple pie! The bad news came yesterday when we had to pull the plug on our property deal due to title and oil tank removal issues. Square one and no JD2720.
