Happy Thanksgiving to all. Sunday will be turkey day for me and mine. Both boys and their significant others, including pets, will be here for supper. That'll be a houseful with four adults and three dogs in attendance, as well as my three dogs and two cats. I wish happiness and peace to all as we give thanks for our bounty, our family and friends, and our country.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians, and to my friends here at GTTalk I spent yesterday with my friends Mike from Winnipeg and Carol from Toronto we attended the Race Of Gentlemen in Wildwood NJ on the beach like in Daytona Fla. only this is a 1/8 mi. drag race featuring vintage race cars of the twenties powered by flat head ford V8s. The race is by sponsored by the Oiler's car club of CA. its a shame I forgot to bring my camera eh, next year.

Happy thanksgiving guys. It is pretty cool here right now, but we are supposed to get up to 20C here today (around 68F) and even warmer tomorrow. Just me and my wife this weekend, we will be getting together with her sisters next weekend.

Happy Turkey day up in the North country. Hope you all have a great day with good weather and enjoy your family and friends. Started out at 53° F here this morning and talking up to mid 80's for the high today. Fall harvest is starting to get into high gear in this area. 50 miles West of us they have a lot of the corn and soybeans out already and we running hard yesterday. They had a break in the rain last spring while we were still getting showered every other day. A lot of wet spots in the fields all over. Seen several places where the combine started down a strip and had to back out, leaving a deep black rut behind. Corn the same way. Lot of places will have to wait till freeze up to get the rest out. Can you imagine what it would cost o get one of those big machines pulled out of the mud? Takes some real heavy equipment, like dozers and excavators. The big heavy wreckers cannot get to them.
