Ran across a Bolens 775 with deck and snow thrower. Never seen one in this part of the country before. Only made one year, Has been re-motored from a 10 to 12.5. Tractor will run with a good battery and front tire aired up (so the owner said?) Looks good for the age, paint is good on all three pieces. Sitting on a cement drive in front of a garage which is good. Has the green deck and yellow thrower which is attached to the tractor. Asking price is very reasonable. Plan to call him today and see if it is within driving distance from me. If I can get there and back in 6-7 hours it might just have a new home. Not posting the link for obvious reasons. 775.jpg

Thats the "Small frame" series, they are not as beefy as the larger tractors but still pretty solid machines which were sold for people with smaller plots of land
Bolens model 775 has the hydrostatic transmission.

Model 770 has the 3-speed trans.

These tractors are OK as collectibles, but if you want a worker, I'd stick with the tube-frames.
I believe they referred to them as the pup. Will be as a collector piece or something for the granddaughter to drive around when she outgrows her RAM. Have tube frames, medium frames, + other for the workers around here. For $300 I can't pass it up, even if it has been used a little hard.
