that is a very nice example, do you know has it been repainted? that will effect value some. I am not really up to date on bolens but I would say you have $1000 there without to much trouble. I am sure one off the bolens guys will be along to give better advise. You thinking off selling??

Can someone please help we figure out what my tractor is worth?
Hello welcome To GTtalk.

You have a 1960 Bolens Ride a matic. Does it still have the ID tag and the belt guard those really hurt the value if there missing.

The cart is not a factory bolens cart.

Were are you located?

Condition and location will affect the price.

Your Bolens certainly looks nice, but if it doesn't run, or has been sitting a long time, it may not be worth as much.

I personally think that $1000 figure you were quoted is very optimistic, perhaps even unrealistic.

The reel mower attachment and the hitch required to operate that mower are very desirable to a Bolens collector, but I would suggest resisting any attempt to sell them separately.

The tractor with the mower has more value than the tractor alone. ...If it were mine, I would start with an asking price of $650-$700, but that does not mean I would get a buyer at that price. ...The amount of responses you get will tell you if your pricing is realistic. .....You can always lower your price, but you can't raise it once it's sold. .....Shipping these items becomes very expensive, so your target market is usually limited to a few neighboring states (depending on where you are).

I agree that the cart is not a Bolens cart, so it has little value to a Bolens collector.

Good luck in selling your inheritance. ....Just try not to give it away too cheaply.

Hi and welcome to GTTalk! That ride a matic is in pretty decent shape. I agree with blackjackjakexxix, if you are into tractors at all you may want to keep it. If not, provide your location and some info on it and the folks here will be able to give you a better estimate on value, and some memebers may even want to buy it from you.
